Tales of Love at Taconic Ridge Farm: Niketa and Arib’s Wedding Celebration

Niketa and Arib embarked on a wedding journey that authentically reflected their identities and love story. It was a beautiful fusion, blending modern romance with the richness of their cultural heritage and cherished traditions.

A Day of Unforgettable Moments

August 28th, 2021, a day that epitomizes the beauty of summer, a time when nature is at its peak, and love is celebrated in all its splendor. It’s a season of warmth, growth, and bountiful blessings, making it the perfect canvas for Niketa and Arib’s wedding at Taconic Ridge Farm. Having had the pleasure of collaborating with Taconic Ridge on multiple occasions, we can confidently say that each couple who chooses this venue for their wedding brings forth a unique and captivating vibe. The day began with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the field surrounded by rolling hills and farm pastures.

Toasting to Togetherness

Following the ceremony, guests proceeded to the cocktail hour held in the Barn.The focal point of the venue is the 1850’s barn, with its soaring 31′ ceilings, exposed wood frame, and captivating windows that offered breathtaking views of the Taconic Range and sunset. Making this the perfect place to create an unforgettable cocktail hour and reception. Here, they enjoyed our Burnt Peach Boulevardier, and Slow Roasted Pineapple Tequila Spritz.  And for those who preferred non-alcoholic beverages, we made sure to offer equally refreshing and delicious options. Along with the cocktails, guests savored three passed snacks including; Smoked Trout Stuffed Shishito Peppers with a barbeque fish sauce, Coal Roasted Leeks with Burnt Almond Muhammara, and finally Grilled Peach, with Black Garlic, Sumac, and Mint.

Blooms of Love and Elegance

As the guests took their seats at the two long dining tables they were greeted by the natural beauty and modern charm of the table setting. At the center of each table was a mesmerizing display of wildflowers, thoughtfully crafted by the skilled hands of Hedge Floral Design. 

A Symphony of Flavors

Around 7:00 it was time for an amazing dinner service, buffet style. As the sun set, Guests enjoyed a series of several dishes including ingredients that highlighted the essence of a perfect late-summer day. Starting with Grilled Cantaloupe & Heirloom Tomatoes, and Plums over Raw Cow’s Milk Burrata, drizzled with Sumac and Burnt Curry Honey. For entrees, we served Date Basted Leg of Lamb with a Charred Red Onion Salad; Coal Roasted Salmon with Charred Leek Escabeche and Red Curry; and Whole Grilled Chicken Masala with Grilled Corn Gremolata. Seasonal sides, like Grilled Broccoli Rabe, Grilled Summer Squash, and Slow Roasted Eggplant complemented each dish. As the evening came to a close, a sweet surprise awaited all guests courtesy of Bona Bona Ice Cream.
