The sun was shining on Saturday, August 13th 2022, the day of Yda and Spencer’s wedding at Antrim Streamside in Sullivan County. Nature seemed to conspire in favor of the couple’s special day, ensuring that the atmosphere was just as beautiful as the love they share.

Antrim Streamside is a boutique property located in the heart of the Catskills, set on the banks of the Willowemoc Creek. At Antrim Streamside, nature’s grandeur takes center stage, offering a mesmerizing backdrop of the Catskills. Surrounded by expansive wooded areas and meticulously manicured grounds, the venue exudes a tranquil and inviting atmosphere that instantly captivates all who set foot on its terrain.
Romantic Serenity: Love Amidst Breathtaking Tablescapes
Amidst the captivating surroundings of Antrim Streamside, the couple embraced a warm summer day under a sail tent on the main lawn, where serene ponds and streams provided a breathtaking backdrop. The air carried the sweet aroma of summer, setting the scene for a lifetime of memories. Guests dined on rustic farmhouse tables under the tent, while string lights gracefully entwined above cast a magical glow as evening descended. Adorning the tables were delicate floral arrangements of soft hued roses, adding a romantic charm to the atmosphere.
A Refreshing Welcome: Grilled Plum & Sumac Sparkling Lemonade and Seasonal Snacks
Guests arrived at 4:30 where they were greeted with a welcome beverage, at the welcome beverage station serving our Grilled Plum & Sumac Sparkling Lemonade. It’s a beverage that captures the essence of the season, balancing the sweet juiciness of ripe plums with the zesty brightness of lemon. Guests then made their way to the tent at 5:30 for a passed cocktail hour where they enjoyed snacks that highlighted the flavors of the season like the Trout Stuffed Shishito Peppers and Charred nectarines topped with burnt honey and enjoyed cocktails along with a full open bar.
A Feast to Remember: Highlights of the Perfect August Menu
After a candlelit champagne toast, guests enjoyed a harvest table style feast with a menu that highlighted the essence of a perfect August day, including a Coal Roasted Sea Trout, Slow Roasted Dairy Cow Strip Loin, Charred Corn Chimichurri. Seasonal sides, like Grilled Summer Squash and Broccoli Rabe to complement each entree. The evening ended with Peaches over Corn Cake, topped with Raw Sheep’s Milk Cheese, Chili Honey, and Lemon Balm and a spiced chocolate cake with plums and brown butter for Dessert.
