Nature’s Perfect Union
On the sunny Saturday of July 30, 2022, Sarina and Ed celebrated their wedding at a private residence in Katonah, New York. It was as though nature conspired to match the magnificence of their shared affection.
Cheers to Love
Guests arrived at 5:30 and we kicked off the evening with an incredible cocktail hour. Sarina and Ed’s large party of 120 mingled and enjoyed refreshments from the full open bar. The bar featured two of our signature cocktails; the Slow Roasted Pineapple, Chili Honey, Tequila Spritz and our Burnt Orange Boulevardier. As well as a few passed snacks, including Coal Roasted Summer Beans, with Burnt Onion Romesco, and Horseradish, Smoked cherries, with Mole, and Fennel Pollen.
Elevating the Experience
Sarina and Ed also added our charcuterie package to their cocktail hour. Guests savored An Assortment of Locally Sourced and House Cured Meats ,Hard & Soft Local Cheeses, Local Sourdough Breads, Charred & Marinated Vegetables, and our signature WFF Smoked Olives.
A Table of Togetherness
As cocktail hour came to a close, guests were invited to take their seats for an unforgettable meal, family style. The first course began with Charred Italian Greens topped with Garlic Bread Crumbs, Sheep’s Milk Pecorino and a Garlic Vinaigrette. As well as smoked strawberries paired with creamy Cow’s Milk Burrata, drizzled with Brown Butter. For entrees, the coal roasted sea trout with charred escabeche and Slow Roasted Whole Chicken with Smoked Olive Salsa Verde Seasonal sides, like our Grilled Summer Squash complemented each entrée.
We concluded the meal with Ember Roasted Strawberries combined with Grilled Spiced Chocolate Cake and Sheep’s Milk Cheese for dessert.
